This section contains working groups often called task forces, coalitions or workgroups under SAWPA’s facilitation address water resource  programs (e.g., Imported Water Recharge Emerging Constituents Program Task Force),  beneficial use assurance (e.g., Basin Monitoring Program Task Force), or watershed improvement (e.g., the Lake Elsinore & San Jacinto Watersheds Authority – LESJWA).

Mission Statement

SAWPA undertakes water resource related collaborative planning and implementation activities with multiple agencies and organizations throughout the watershed to support cost efficiency, integration, synergy and creating anew. These joint efforts among the Planning Department staff and watershed stakeholders sometimes called the “SAWPA Roundtable” efforts operate under formal and informal agreements. The Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board is often a party to these agreements.
